As Nutrition Manager Ruminants you will be responsible for account management of feed mills and distributors. You will be a technical discussion partner for these accounts, assist them in expanding their market success and support their customers. To achieve this you will combine and develop your skills at R&D and nutritional know-how. You are responsible for introducing new products, concepts en knowledge to the customer and their sales team. You are able to provide second line on farm support. With your key accounts you work on co-designing and developing their feeding programs with know-how, also using the skills of the total Ruminant team. You have a good knowledge of the dairy industry and proven commercial success

Specific responsibilities

• Ensure a solid development of sales (mineral products, additives and milk replacers)
• Give dairy production and nutritional support at customers predominantly in Germany and the Netherlands
• You are responsible for introducing new products, concepts en R&D results to the customer
• Design marketable custom-made programs for and together with our key accounts
• Strong involvement in marketing communications (trade shows, marketing materials, promotional events)
• Play a leading role in new business development

• University degree in animal science or veterinary medicine or equal through industry experience
• At least 3 years technical and commercial experience in the feed industry
• Excellent communication / team skills
• The job requires significant international travel (30-40%)
• Technical and practical know-how on ruminant production management
• Proven track record in Value Selling
• Command of Dutch, German and English language
