Area Export Manager Ruminants

Purpose of the job

Responsible for sales activities regarding the product lines of milk replacers for ruminants. To growth into the position of Area export Manager Ruminants for all product lines in export, in line with the strategy and objectives of the Holding Group.

Key accountabilities

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager Export
  • Develop specific business plans per market, market segments, and product groups and per distributor
  • Present and execute the sales plan based on knowledge of the market and management of on-going performance against plan
  • Develop alignment of Distributing Organizations both 3rd parties and/or intergroup
  • Realize growth through realization of the annual budgets/forecasts and other targets, portfolio of products and services agreed upon with distributors
  • Finalize and accomplish contractual agreements and annual renewal of targets and activity plans with distributors
  • Management of reporting of all activities through CRM (MS Dynamics)
  • Maximization of sales & marketing efficacy through management of the Marketing & Sales activities as proposed by Management and Marketing Department
  • Development of necessary Market Data Bases (market information) on final users, competitor prices (benchmark), regulations, market essentials, financial information on customers and payment systems
  • Development of surveys, promotion activities, fairs, coordination of campaigns with distributors
  • Train/ motivate and advise distributor sales force and End users.
  • Development of training plans and programs for personnel of the distributing organizations in conjunction with Product Managers and Technical Support organization
  • Investigate, explore and manage business development opportunities by pioneering and exploring new business contacts.

Key Attributes

  • High vocational- University level (animal science or ruminants)
  • Minimal 5 years of work experience in sales
  • Affinity agriculture branch (ruminants or additives)
  • English and Dutch
  • Affinity with travel on a regular base
  • Experience in management of distributors and intergroup
